Tomorrow night, Laura Van Wie McGrary (daughter of Kendal residents Gail and Bill Van Wie) will talk about her perspective on climate change and the recent COP 28 international climate summit. She attended COP 28, in Dubai, as a representative of the World Resources Institute.

If you are interested in the climate crisis, and the world’s progress toward solving it, you won’t want to miss this presentation. Laura will be speaking in the Kendal auditorium, starting at 7:15. Her presentation will also be available on Zoom—the link is available from the KRA home page.

Note that we have recently experienced problems with Zoom events in the auditorium, which means you may want to attend in person, just to be on the safe side. I imagine the event will be recorded, but if we lose the Zoom connection, we will lose the recording as well.
