On July 29 (Tuesday), the initial batch of solar panels on the new healthcare wing will go live. Would you like to be there to watch the ceremonial throwing of the switch?

That will happen at 2:30. The switch is located on the wall of the new construction that is across the road from the Dog Park.

This is the inauguration of the first batch of 114 panels. Another batch of 86 panels, paid for through fundraising at Crosslands, is on the roof but awaiting approval from PECO, our local power distributor.

Jan and I will be on vacation, so we’ll miss this event, but I hope some of you will decide to show up in our place. It’s an important milestone!
