There has been some uncertainty about how to make a contribution that is designated for solar panels on the new health center expansion (or whether such a designation would even be possible). I am one of the people who held off making a contribution until I knew the details on this.

I have now gotten a definitive answer from Rayna Gray, KCC’s Director of Philanthropy: Yes, contributions can be designated for solar panels.

Rayna writes: “Checks for the Kendal Health Center can be made to ‘Kendal-Crosslands Communities Health Center’ and please write ‘Solar panels’ in the memo line.”

For Crosslands residents who want to make solar-panel contributions for the Kendal health center expansion, Rayna writes: “Plans for requesting pledges from Crosslands residents for an additional solar array are still being finalized and will be announced soon.”
