First protest. On Thursday, February 28, almost 50 protesters gathered on Route 1, near Kendal’s entrance, with signs protesting the chaos in Washington, DC. There was coverage on the website of the Chester County Daily Local News, which you can read here. (This article is not behind the paywall.) The same material appeared in the print edition on Sunday (March 3) on page A3. (That page is missing from our library’s copy. If you have it, please take a picture and then return the newspaper!)

The Daily Local News article included three photos. Here are two more photos from that event.

Second protest. On Saturday, March 1, some residents joined a large group of protesters at Tesla’s West Chester outlet. Here is that story, from Margarita Munielo.

Some 150 demonstrators including residents took part in a protest on Saturday, March 1 at the Tesla dealership in West Chester, PA along Route 3, a busy highway. Uniquely worded, handcrafted signs expressing alarm at the dismantling of our democratic government were well received overall as evidenced by repetitive honking, cheers, and applause; a few expressed disagreement. Some drivers slowed down to get a better look and read the signs.
